Whether there is ever consensus around this issue or not, there are acknowledged weak spots in how municipalities filter water for general consumption today. The fact is, as reliable as municipal water is most of the time, the process cannot continuously guarantee safe clean water throughout its distribution network. Every now and again, there’s a glitch; a health-threatening kind of glitch that affects whole communities.
